Art is an extremely subjective matter. As such, your work will not appeal to everyone, and will be harshly criticized and even rejected. I'll be honest. I have taken rejection personally and let it bother me. I would wonder "what is wrong with my work, why doesn't s/he see value in it?" The bottom line is that people have different taste, and you cannot expect everyone to appreciate your artwork. I submitted the 10 images above to a popular photography blog.
